MARIE BENTZON
b. 1995

I am a danish visual artist and photographer based in Norway. In my work, I explore what we see and how we connect with our surroundings. Through photography, video, and sculpture, I examine the interplay between people, space, and landscape. Central themes in my work are intimacy, relationships, and the body, with a focus on slowness, gathering and the physical in my process. I believe that if we engage more with what is close to us, we become more present and protective of what we have.

Besides working as a visual artist I work as a freelance photographer.
